Longman Gates is a small business which has been established
since 1990. Offering professional and friendly advice on the
sales of our products, which are standard and made to measure
timber gates, side hung garage doors, cottage doors, barn and
stable doors produced in timber. We also sell locks,
hinges,
bolts, latches and all
other related ironmongery.
Types of Doors/Gates
Longman Gates can supply all types of timber gates, cottage
doors, stable doors and side hung garage doors, ranging from
ledged and braced gates and 5 bar gates to mortice and tenon
frame ledged and braced garage doors.
Designs
As we have our own production unit, we can be versatile in the
manufacture of our bespoke timber gates, stable doors and side
hung garage doors etc. We can make various designs either from
our web-site, or if you have your own design we will always be
willing to quote you a price. Standard Doors & Gates can also be
obtained at very competitive prices.
Fitting Service
Fitting is something which a percentage of our customers
require. Although we are only manufacturers we can recommend
fitters who have fitted our gates and doors for a number of
years, so we have a good working relationship with these people.
Timber
Generally the majority of our doors and gates are manufactured
using Scandinavian redwood softwood pine and hardwood doors and
gates are made using Iroko, Sapele and Idigbo (sample available
on request). Although as a company which is conscious of the
environment we are taking on board laminated Redwood Softwood
Pine stock for use within some of our doors and gates.
